BELLBROOK, Ohio (WDTN) - Parents and caregivers gathered at the Bellbrook Fire Station 2 Sunday for a "Child Safety Seat Inspection" Drive Thru.
The free event was held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4254 West Franklin Street.
The program was designed to ensure all children under the age of eight are properly restrained in the car.
The "Drive Thru" was an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn how to transport children using appropriate child safety seats and safety belts.
The event was put on by the Bellbrook Fire Department, Dayton Children's Medical Center, and Safe Kids USA.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has estimated three out of four parents don't properly use child restraints.
