DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - It happened in Texas and Alaska, but the next big oil and natural gas boom could be in the Dayton region.

Drilling for so-called underground gold can bring hundreds of millions of dollars and thousands of jobs, but some aren't convinced it's safe.

We want to know what you think. Is the money that could be made by drilling worth the gamble?  Go to the WDTN facebook page now and tell us what you think.

And, be sure to watch Mark Allan's special report tonight at 6:00pm on 2 News.
