HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - The Humane Society conducted a raid in Huber Heights Thursday.

Officials told 2 NEWS as many as 200 animals were discovered living inside the house at 7043 Chadbourne Avenue.
Animal rescue workers said they removed 60 chickens, roosters, rabbits, and birds. The other animals apparently will be left in the house for now.
No animals were found dead, but workers said the conditions inside are deplorable. Officials have not filed any charges.
Neighbors gathered to watch, some expressing shock at what was going on, while others said they had suspected the residents were hoarding. One told 2 NEWS Photographer Kris Sproles that a man undergoing chemotherapy, and his mother live in the house.
