DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Downtown Dayton Revival Music Festival kicks off Saturday, September 8 at Noon, but it could affect your commute much earlier than that.

Starting at noon on Friday, September 7, one block of St. Clair Street, between Second and Third streets will be closed.

Then at 8:00 am Saturday, the rest of the streets will be shut down including:

- St. Clair from Monument Avenue to Third Street

- Jefferson Street from Second Street to Monument

- First Street from Main Street to Patterson Boulevard

- Second Street from Jefferson to Patterson.

Organizers expect there could be as many as 40,000 people downtown for the two day event. That adds up to a lot of traffic.

There will be several parking lots open near the festival.

But, if you don't want to deal with downtown, there will be a shuttle bringing people in from the UD arena parking lot as well as the Sinclair Community College parking garages.

The road closures will be in effect all weekend, but should not effect your Monday morning commute.

They are expected to open after the festival wraps up Sunday night.

For tickets, visit the Downtown Dayton Revival website .
