DNA lands inmate back in jail for rape

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - An inmate at the Lebanon Correctional Institute barely had a taste of freedom.
He was arrested immediately upon his release on rape charges stemming from a sex assault in 1993.
David Leroy Grimes was indicted based on new DNA evidence. He is now accused of raping an impaired teenaged girl in Kettering.
He is currently in the Montgomery County Jail awaiting his arraignment Thursday, August 9.
