Dayton's annual waffle shop underway

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Christ Episcopal Church in Dayton has launched its Waffle Shop for the 83 year.
The church serves breakfast for lunch during the week long event, with about 75% of the proceeds going to area charities.
The Waffle Shop is located inside the church on West First Street and is open between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday, November 16 is the final day for the shop.
Over the years the Waffle Shop has grown significantly. In addition to the eat-in and carryout dining, the Waffle Shop includes a Craft Bazaar, Bake Sale, Elsie’s Attic and a raffle. Since 1929, Waffle Shop has been the most successful fund raising event within Christ Church.
