Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) - The Dayton Triangles, on October 3, 1920, played the first game of what would become the National Football League at Triangle Park in Dayton, Ohio.

And although very little remains of the team but memories, one important piece from the playbook of the past took it's new place among history.

On Friday July 28, 2012 the Dayton Triangles locker room, located at Triangle Park moved to a permanent new home at Carillon Park.

This will be the initial component of what will become The Dayton Sports History Center which is sure to score some extra points with sports fans alike.

Watch as 2 News Chief Photographer Kris (Snap-Shot) Sproles and 2 News Reporter Jordan (Bubba) Burgess follow it's drive to the goal line at Carillon Park.
