Dayton teacher indicted for assault

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton school teacher has now been indicted in Montgomery County.

Georgia Cox was charged with assault on Tuesday.

She is accused of striking a mentally and physically challenged student at Meadowdale High School in October 2012.

The incident happened inside the school cafeteria.  The student uses a wheelchair.

Cox is scheduled back into court on February 12, 2013.
