DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A payment plan is now available for unpaid parking or camera-enforced violations n the city of Dayton.

The payment plan option was announced in May as a way to assist motorists who had unpaid fines related to parking tickets or camera-enforced red light or speed violations. The plan is for people with at least $250.00 in unpaid traffic violations. Vehicles that have already been towed are not eligible for the payment plan.

Details of the payment plan are:

  • Payment plans are available for anyone with more than $250.00 in outstanding photo enforcement and/or parking violations. Multiple vehicles can be included in a single plan.
  • Interested parties should report to the Dayton Municipal Clerk of Courts’ Central Payment Division Counter (301 W. Third Street) between 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Payment plans must be initiated in person.
  • A down payment of 20 percent of the outstanding balance or $100.00, whichever is greater, is due at the time the plan is initiated.
  • Plan holders will have 180 days to pay the outstanding amount in full. Monthly installments can be paid online at www.paymyfine.org , in person, or by mail with coupons that will be issued at the time the plan is initiated.
  • Violations included in the plan will not be tow-list eligible during the duration of the plan.
  • If the plan is not paid in full in 180 days, any outstanding violations will have their tow-list eligibility reinstated and the vehicle may be impounded by the Dayton Police Department on any public street or public place. Anyone who defaults on the terms of the payment plan forfeit any future participation in the payment plan program.
