DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton man will spend 13-years in prison for ramming an FBI task force member's car back in July 2011.
Charles D. Warren, 38, of Dayton, was sentenced in federal court Thursday.
The FBI Safe Streets Task Force was trying to serve an illegal gun possession warrant after Warren was stopped on a traffic violation in Dayton.
Warren fled the traffic stop, but stopped a short time later for the FBI. As a task force member was exiting his car, Warren rammed his car.
Warren was sentenced on charges including assault on an officer, illegal possession of a firearm and complicity to to distribute marijuana.
Warren was also caught up in a drug trafficking ring between California and Ohio between 2009 and 2011.
