DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The City of Dayton is extending its recycling services to neighboring Jefferson Township.
Dayton will provide curbside recycling pickup for all Jefferson Township residents by mid-summer.
Right now, only 2,500 township customers are being served.
Beginning July 1, 2013, all customers will have the option to add bi-weekly recycling for just $6.00 in 2013.
It will then cost $10.00 per year from 2014 through 2017.
"We appreciate Jefferson Township showing in what we do and I think we have an opportunity to prove ourselves," said Joey Williams, Dayton City Commissioner.
Call the City of Dayton at 333-4800 to request delivery of a 96-gallon recycling bin.
