Dayton announced leaf pickup dates

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton announced its plans Wednesday for leaf pickup this fall.

Pickup will begin October 29 and run through the end of the year. In the coming week, Dayton residents should receive vouchers in the mail for ten free leaf bags. Full bags should be placed at the curb.

Last year, The city fined 24 of residents for noncompliance. Leaves can not be placed in plastic bags or simply raked to the curb without a bag. If that happens, Dayton city leaders said they would post a notice on the resident's door, giving them 7 days to fix the problem.
