DAYTON, Ohio (Dayton Business Journal) - Dayton Business Journal: The city of Dayton has been named No. 2 on a list of the top cities in the country for having the most affordable homes, according to a report on Yahoo Finance.
The report cites CNBC and uses the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Opportunity Index.
Dayton has an index score of 92, which means that local residents who earn the city's median income of $63,300 can buy a home here, according to the report. It lists the median housing price in Dayton as $92,000.
