DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton police need your help solving a very unusual attempted credit union robbery.  For reasons you are about to see, they would love to "drag" this suspect into custody.

At about 2:00 pm on the afternoon of November 9, a black male dressed as a female attempted to rob Code Credit Union on Monument Avenue in Dayton.

The incident was caught on surveillance video.  He threatened the teller, but never actually showed a gun.  He also passed a note to the teller, who did not comply with his demands and the suspect ran off empty handed eastbound from the credit union parking lot.

Detective Cayce Cantrell says, "The suspect is described as a black male who was dressed in women's clothing.  He's approximately 5'10", slender build.  He had heavy make-up on,  a wig and was wearing a tan ladies business suit.  If anybody recognizes this person or has any information about the robbery, please call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867."
