JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - For some people, dealing with heat just comes with the job.
Firefighters in Jefferson Township had to use extra caution when battling an overnight blaze.
A barn was completely destroyed on South Lutheran Church Rd. near Hemple Rd.
No animals were inside and no one was hurt.
Firefighters took extra caution though, calling in plenty of mutual aid and extra crews to help give each other a break from the flames.
Crews said they also made sure to drink plenty of water while on the scene.
The cause of the barn fire remains under investigation.
