TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) - A woman whose body was found inside her Trotwood home Monday was strangled.

The Montgomery County Coroner just released its findings Wednesday afternoon, so Trotwood police now have a homicide investigation on their hands.

The body of Regina Davis, 69, was found in her home in the 4900 block of Natalie Court Monday night around 10:00 pm.  Police say they received a call from a concerned neighbor who hadn't seen Davis for some time.

Officers searched her home after spotting an unlocked back door.  They found Davis's body in the bathtub.

Trotwood detectives already have a suspect in custody.  Dylan Harrison, 21, was booked into jail on a murder charge.

Prosecutors will meet Thursday morning to discuss formal charges.  Police will hold a news conference Thursday at 3:00 pm with more on this case.
