KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton man was arrested Thursday morning in connection to a disturbance in Kettering.
Police said Wednesday night, Scott A. Lawson, 44, drove a pickup truck through the rear fence at 2752 Haig Avenue, then fired several shots into the house. According to Kettering Officer Ronald Roberts, the house was occupied by Lawson's ex-girlfriend and three children. Roberts said the crash also pushed a hot tub into the side of a neighbor's house.
Dayton police officers later found Lawson on Fauver Avenue and he was taken into custody. He was booked into the Kettering Jail for felonious assault.
Roberts said the pickup truck was stolen from Dayton and was recovered near Belmont Park.
