City bans texting while driving

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - Kettering leaders put a stop to texting while driving.
The city council passed an ordinance Tuesday evening making it illegal to write, read or send a text message while driving.
You would still be able to talk on the phone and use your GPS.
The ban takes effect in January.
