DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Montgomery County Coroner's Office is preparing to bury the remaining cremains taken from a Dayton home.

A coroner's office spokesperson says 26 of the 53 remains found in September will be buried during a special ceremony later this month.

Relatives for eleven of those remains were found, but they declined to pick them up.

15 others are still unclaimed.

The rest were returned to their families.

The cremains were found in the home of former funeral director, Sherrie McLin.
