DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton man will soon learn his punishment for breaking into homes in more than a half dozen Miami Valley communities.

We first told you about Sean Upchurch last year after he was arrested by Oakwood police. Officers caught him running from a home where an alarm sounded.

He pleaded guilty to 55 counts Friday. 36 of them were burglary charges.

Upchurch will be sentenced August 30.
