HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - Patsy Jenkins is preparing to send both her sons, Staff Sergeant Jason Marlow and Specialist James Marlow, to Afghanistan with the Army National Guard. She calls them her two American heroes.

"As a mother, a little part of me doesn't want them to go. But, to be honest with you, I'm 100% behind them," says Jenkins.

Serving in the military runs in the brothers' blood.

"Me and their father were in the Air Force. My dad was in the Army. I've got a brother who was in the Navy. Two uncles, Army and Navy," explains Jenkins.

This will be Jason's second tour of duty.

"I feel strong. I think I know what to expect on this one. First one was a little hairy but this one should be good," Ssgt. Marlow comments.

But, this is his brother James first time serving his country.

"It's great but, you know, it's also kind of scary too. I mean, I'm not going to lie," explains Spc. Marlow.

Both say they're overwhelmed with the support they've received from the community.
"Words can't describe. It means the world," comments Spc. Marlow.

"It's awesome. I'm still amazed on how much support we get," says Ssgt. Marlow.

The Marlow brothers will be deployed to Afghanistan on November 14th.
