DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Police are investigating a robbery at a downtown Dayton bank.

The Chase Bank at 40 N. Main St. inside the Kettering Tower was robbed just before 10:30 Thursday morning.

Witnesses described the suspect as a black male, 5' 8' wearing a black puffy jacket, blue jeans, and a beanie type hat. He has short hair and a tear drop tattoo on one side of face and another tattoo on the other side.

According to police, he walked into the bank and very calmly handed a teller a note.  He did not show a weapon.

No injuries were reported from the incident.

This was the second financial institution robbery downtown in a week.  The Code Credit Union on East Monument Street was robbed Nov. 9. The suspect in that robbery still has not been caught.
