MIAMI TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - Austin Landing will welcoming its newest addition on Thursday.  A new Kroger will be opening its doors at 7 a.m..

Store Manager Clint Rose said the first 300 customers to enter Thursday morning will receive a $10 Kroger gift card.

"The following three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the first 300 customers who enter the store will also receive a gift," said Rose.

The store comes equipped with the staple food sections such as a bakery, meats and deli, frozen foods, dairy, hot prepared meals, salad bar, and beer/wine section.

"We have a wine tasting area," said Rose.  "Its something different we believe customers will enjoy."

Customers will also be able to have their prescriptions filled, as well as take care of their banking needs at U.S. Bank.

"We will be having deals for customers interested in opening checking accounts, as well as loans," said Erin Eckstein, who will be the branch manager.

Three hundred people were hired to help operate the Kroger store, and according to the store manager, the market is looking to hire.

"We are looking for daytime baggers at this time," said Rose.
