MIAMI TOWNSHIP (WDTN) - Two new additions have been added to Austin Landing.

HomeGoods and TJ Maxx stores have signed deals to open stores at the Miami Township development, according to officials at RG Properties, the developer of Austin Landing.

“We are pleased to be able to announce this exciting addition to Austin Landing,” said Misty Sirch, director of retail portfolio management for RG Properties.“ TJ Maxx and HomeGoods are welcome additions for that piece of the village focused on value retail.”

Construction already is underway for the 45,000 square foot project, with plans for both stores to each occupy about half the space. Both are targeted for a September opening.

The announcement comes just weeks after officials revealed that BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and Panera Bread also will locate at Austin Landing this year.

Sirch said the developer also is nearing deals with other retailers for Austin Landing.

“Its been a popular spot,” Sirch said. “Retailers are seeing the potential Austin Landing offers. We expect to have more exciting announcements in the near future.”
