WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) - An accident on Interstate 75 Thursday morning backed-up traffic for miles.

A tractor-trailer crashed into a retaining wall in the northbound lanes near West Carrollton High School. The impact caused the rear wheels of the trailer and the rear door to break off. They flipped over the wall and landed on West Alex-Bell Road below the freeway.

Witnesses told 2 NEWS the accident caused traffic on I-75 to stall all the way to Springboro.

SR 741/Springboro Pike was also jammed with more traffic than usual because of drivers attempting to bypass the accident scene.

No injuries were reported from the crash or the falling truck parts.
