HARRISON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - Five people were injured after two vehicles collided on northbound Interstate 75 between Needmore Road and Benchwood Road early Sunday morning.
Troopers stated the two vehicles were traveling north on I-75 when they collided, went off the side of the road, and landed in a ditch.
The driver, passenger, and three children in one of the vehicles all sustained minor injuries.
According to the state highway patrol, the driver of the other vehicle ran from the scene, but officials later caught up with him and took him into custody.
Troopers stated there were indications that the driver had been drinking.
The driver could face possible charges of fleeing authorities and OVI.
