DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - About 2,500 people showed up to the Montgomery County Board of Elections on Saturday, waiting to cast their ballots.
Some people had to wait about an hour to vote because of the overwhelming turnout of voters.
The Montgomery County Board of Elections located at 451 West Third Street in Dayton was open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday.
Early voting will be available in the days leading up to the election. Registered voters can cast their ballot Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. and Monday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Eligible voters can find voting information at Gottavote.com.
