DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton Police are searching for a gunman that left a victim injured just before Noon Thursday.
Police and medics were called to the scene near the intersection of Hillcrest Avenue and Main Street with word that the shooter fled on foot.
Detectives tell 2 NEWS the bleeding victim walked into the old Super Duper store where someone called for help. But, before the medics arrived, the victim left the store and got into a car.
Medics found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the side and rushed them to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries are unknown.
Police are still looking for two people who may have information about the shooting but are not considered suspects.
