PLEASANT HILL, Ohio (WDTN) - The Miami County Animal Shelter now say it was a coyote that was found shot and skinned on the side of a rural road.
The animal was found Tuesday night on Range Line Road near Pleasant Hill. The shelter at first thought it was a dog.
A man contacted them shortly after the story aired on 2 NEWS and said he shot and skinned the coyote, then left it on the side of the road.
Officials say the most they can charge him with is littering.
