TROY, Ohio (WDTN) - Locally owned and operated McDonald's Restaurants are looking to increase their workforce by at least 200 people on their McHiring Day, August 14, 2012.

The man behind the jobs push is Benny Scott Jr., who owns 15 McDonald's locations in Piqua, Sidney, Greenville, Troy, Tipp City, Huber Heights Fairborn, and Beavercreek.

Scott employees almost 1,000 people at his store locations, and hopes to add at least 200 new people to his team.

Starting at 1 p.m., McDonald's managers will be on-hand to answer any questions you might have, and also to conduct interviews.

They're looking to fill multiple positions, depending on the location.

McHiring Day will wrap up tonight at 8:00.

Scott says they're looking for people like Leah Wolter, the general manager here at the Troy location. She's been with the company for 24 years, and Scott says McHiring Day will help find more Wolters out there.

"This is a way for us to really take a lot of people, grab a lot of applications and really focus on just the best," Scott said. "Our business is growing, our company is growing. We've added restaurants. We're looking for the best employees for our future."

If you're interested in applying for a job at any of the locations, click our link . To fill out an online application beforehand, just enter the city you're hoping to work in.
