Highway worker killed by falling tree

TROY, Ohio (WDTN) - A construction worker was killed by a falling tree Tuesday morning in Miami County.
A crew from Miami County highway department was clearing out a tree line along Troy – Sidney Road, just north of Rusk Road, when the tree fell.
The Troy Fire Department was called to the scene but the man, who hasn’t been identified, was pronounced dead upon their arrival.
Details are still unfolding, but 2 NEWS has learned grief counselors were made available to the other road crew members.
