TROY, Ohio (WDTN) - The community is coming together to show its support for Rachel Stump and her family. Ink'd Tees in Troy is making t-shirts that say "Keep Calm and Pray for Rachel." They're $15 dollars each and all of the proceeds will go to Rachel's family to help with her medical expenses.
The 18-year-old is still in serious condition but friends who have visited her in the hospital say she is improving everyday.
Rachel is a 2012 graduate of Troy High School where she was a varsity cheerleader and member of the National Honor Society. Friends say Rachel is well-liked by everyone and they know that if the situation were reversed, Rachel would do everything she could to help them.
The t-shirts, as well as bracelets will be for sale at the Troy High School football game Friday night.
A fundraiser car wash is also scheduled Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM at the AutoZone on West Main Street in Troy.
If you can't make it, you can still buy a t-shirt or make a donation by going here.
