TROY, Ohio (WDTN) - Police are counting on video from the robbery Thursday morning of a Valero Station on West Market Street in Troy to catch the person behind it.
In the video, you'll notice the robber rushes in with his gun drawn and doesn't show any of his face because it's covered by a mask and a hooded sweatshirt.
But on the back of that sweatshirt is a strange design that could help identify him.
The robber is thought to be about 5'4" to 5'8" and in his late teens to early 20's.
The robbery happened about 1 A.M.
Police say they've seen too many cases like this one lately.
"Unfortunately it's been a little more popular in the last month or so but we're pretty confident the public will come through and help us out," says Chris Anderson with the Troy Police Department.
The clerk wasn't injured.
If you have any information on the robbery, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867.
