TROY, Ohio (WDTN) - A former Miami County maintenance supervisor will spend a year in jail for stealing from the county.
Jarod Harrah was sentenced to 12 months in jail.
He will also have to pay $87,000 in fines and restitution.
He will never be allowed to serve in public office again.
Harrah apologized for his actions in court Monday.
"I'm extremely sorry that I even did these things. Looking back on it now, each individual thing didn't seem like a big deal at the time," said Jarod Harrah.
Another former Miami County employee was in court as well. Robert Coppock entered a plea agreement on one charge of tampering with evidence.
