Fmr. Edison St. employee pleads guilty

PIQUA, Ohio (WDTN) - A former Edison Community College employee pleaded guilty Tuesday to illegally obtaining public contracts.

Jack Kramer was a Public Relations director at the Piqua campus.

There were two felony counts charged against him.  Both occurred between January 2008 and March 2009.

He was accused of obtaining media contracts for Edison when he had an interest in the agency in which he associated.

Sentencing is scheduled for November 13.

Kramer could get up to three years in prison.
