TIPP CITY, Ohio (WDTN) - A volunteer for a Tipp City farmers' market was charged Monday with stealing money from the group.
Rebecca Woodward, of Tipp City, is accused of stealing $3,400 over several months from the the Tippecanoe Farmers' Market.
An investigation started at the end of May after market organizers met with police about the allegations.
Market organizers say Woodward had access to funds that should have been paid to local businesses and manufacturers.
Instead, they say, she used the money for herself.
Woodward will soon appear in court on a felony theft charge.
