TIPP CITY, Ohio (WDTN) - A Tipp City restaurant was evacuated late Monday night after flames and smoke overtook the building.
Employees started smelling smoke just before 10 p.m. at the Burger King restaurant located on West Main Street. Firefighters said smoke was coming through the roof when they arrived at the restaurant.
Mike Ullery with the Piqua Daily Call spoke with the fire chief. The fire chief told him the fire likely started in the restroom or office but the cause remains under investigation. It was not immediately clear when the fast food chain may reopen.
