PIQUA, Ohio (WDTN) - A Piqua man told a Miami County judge to stop everything, he's guilty.

Eric Smith, 32, pleaded guilty Friday to a count of aggravated robbery.

Police say he robbed the MainSource Bank in Piqua in December.  He handed a teller a note and threatened that he had a gun.

He fled the bank with cash, but was captured at a nearby hotel a short time later.

Smith is being held in the Miami County Jail.  His next day in court is a sentencing hearing on January 17.
