Teen killed in black ice crash

BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio (WDTN) - A teenager died in a crash on an icy Logan County road just after 8:00 Wednesday morning.

Bellefontaine police said Nicole Price, 16, of Marysville, Ohio was killed when the car she was in hit a patch of black ice and slid into the rear of a rollback wrecker.

The driver, a 16-year-old male, was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. His name and condition have not been released.

The driver of the wrecker was not injured.

The accident happened on westbound US 33 at SR 540 .

Police told 2 NEWS that Price attended Ohio Highpoint JVS.
