LOGAN COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - More than 200 adults were arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement following a five-week, international investigation of child pornography.
Mickell E. Close, of Quincy, Ohio, was nabbed in the national operation. Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Logan County Sheriff's Office collaborated in the effort that identified and rescued three children suspected of being Close's victims.
ICE Director John Morton says in all 123 child victims were identified in the investigation. 110 victims in 19 states and six countries were identified in the operation.
