BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - A big rig carrying paper products caught fire Monday afternoon along southbound Interstate 675 between U.S. 35 and Indian Ripple Road.
Beavercreek Police and township firefighters were on the scene working to extinguish the blaze around 4:45 p.m.
Officers shifted traffic on I-675 down to one lane as crews worked to contain the mess. As a result, traffic was backed up for miles. Police said it would take at least two to three hours to reopen the interstate.
