BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - 'Tis the time for Cyber Monday.
And deals are just a mouse click away.
"I don't have to leave the house and I can just, it's easier to browse and see what's available versus coming to the stores and having to look for your size and ask people if they have it," says Kara Reeser.
Americans are expected to spend $1.5 billion dollars this year, that's up from $1.25 billion last year, according to research firm Comscore.com.
But, many shoppers at The Greene in Beavercreek say they like to get out of the house.
"I'd prefer to go out. I like the atmosphere, especially when all the Christmas lights are up and everything, so, yea, I'm more of an outside person," comments Keily Bryant.
"We're all shopped out, for at least a week. Next weekend, maybe more," explains Mark Rettig.
Some shoppers prefer a little bit of both.
"Coming to the stores is wonderful. It gives you that nice sensation of the time of the year and you can't get that on the internet . So, we enjoy this environment, as well as shopping online," says Mike Tortorici.
Comscore. com also reports that retail spending is expected to rise 17% to just over $43 billion dollars through the whole holiday season.
