BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - Fire investigators continue to look for the cause of a damaging fire in Beavercreek Wednesday.
An 88-year old man was seriously burned in the blaze at his home on Winterglen Court.
Investigators say there are no signs of criminal intent, but exactly how the fire started is still unknown.
They say the fire started at the west end of the garage.
The fire department was alerted to the fire by ADT when a smoke alarm went off. A neighbor called to report the fire a short time later.
Fire investigators say they are still interviewing family and witnesses about what happened.
The victim's wife was not at home when the fire broke out.
The 88-year old victim remains hospitalized at Miami Valley Hospital.
