GREENE CO., Ohio (WDTN) - Shoppers returned to the stores post storm to snag after-holiday deals; however, the snow may still be cooling some shoppers ambitions.
Tony Repic showed off a cordless drill he bought from Lowes in Beavercreek Thursday morning. He was one of many people after the post-holidays sales and was happy to report it wasn't that crowded inside the store.
"I walked in and walked out," said Repic. "It was nice."
JcPenny's parking lot was a similar scene to Lowe's Thursday. Overall, the mall at Fairfield Commons was busy, but not jam packed. Best Buy was one of the busiest stores in the area.
"The snow definitely slowed down traffic, but people kept rolling in here," said Logan Sage, who is a store supervisor.
Many Best Buy shoppers came to check out the latest sales. 2 News caught up with a couple from Springfield who were looking into purchasing a Samsung Galaxy Tablet.
"All of our grandkids got these and just they are great so we thought we would come out and get a great deal too," said Bob and Sue Bayor.
Other shoppers found themselves in the customer service "returns" line. 2 News caught up with Kim Roberts who was returning an IPOD Nano.
"I got it for my niece for Christmas, but she got something better so I'm returning it," said Roberts. "It didn't take long to do at all."
Best Buy was unable to provide any numbers in terms of holiday sales.
"Its too soon to tell," said Sage. "But, we did well this season."
