Officers received a call Friday afternoon about a suspicious …

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - Beavercreek fire and rescue crews were on the scene of a serious crash along US Route 35 eastbound at Factory Road Monday evening.
Initial reports suggested that a third engine was called for at the scene and the Careflight helicopter was requested.
We're told two cars were involved, one a police cruiser. One person was reported to be trapped and was removed in critical condition. The police officer reportedly suffered only minor injuries.
Route 35 was shutdown both east and westbound. The westbound lanes re-opened as of 11:00 pm.
