XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) - One by one they appear in court by video monitor to answer for what police say was a robbery that went terribly wrong.

Anthony Barwick II, Deron McGuire Jr, .Tavaughn Lewis and London Norman all entered not guilty pleas to charges of murder, robbery, burglary and manslaughter at their arraignments Friday in Greene County Common Pleas Court.

Police say the four, along with Ta'Vaun Fambrough tried to rob a Victoria Avenue house in Fairborn with a plastic gun, but the two people inside fought back.

One of them opened fire, injuring Barwick and killing Fambrough, but the Grand Jury didn't indict the two inside the home for Fambrough's death, just the robbery suspects.

All four are being held on $150,000 bonds, although the lawyers for Lewis and Norman asked to get those bonds reduced.

The judge said he'll take the requests under consideration.

As for those who knew Fambrough, a former high school teacher of his told 2 NEWS shortly after his death in January that she would like it not to be in vain.

"My teenagers here are saying that wasn't like him. and I hope other teenagers are seeing not to follow," says Amy Richardson. "Not to be that follower and running with the wrong crowd."

The trials for the four were all set for April.
