BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - The Beavercreek Beavers play the Fairborn Skyhawks on the football field Friday night, but the rivalry is not hindering the generous spirit.
Beavercreek will be accepting donations at the gate to go toward the Wee Hawks Football program.
The Fairborn football program had at least $165 stolen from its Spirit Shop Saturday, September 15.
That may not seem like a lot, but it adds up when you're trying to outfit kids with helmets and shoulder pads and you have to pay for the upkeep of your field.
So, as football fans enter the game on Beavercreek's home turf, they'll be able to donate to Fairborn's cause.
Fairborn police are still working the case. There have been no arrests.
