Police still looking for credit card thieves

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - Beavercreek police are still looking for a pair of thieves who targeted some cars in the L.A. Fitness parking lot across the street from The Greene earlier this month.

Officers say they stole credit cards from vehicles.

One of the thieves then used a stolen card at the Sugarcreek Wal-mart. Later, another suspect was seen at a Bellbrook gas station with the get away truck.

Capt. Jeff Fiorita of the Beavercreek Police Department said crimes like this can be prevented.

Capt. Fiorita stated, "Again we ask everybody that if you do leave some of these items, like a purse, laptop, so forth in your vehicle, to place it in the trunk or somewhere out of sight and especially lock your vehicle. That helps because this is a very big headache and hassle for whomever this happens to"

If you know anything about either theft, call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867.
