YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio (WDTN) - Village employees will begin flushing fire hydrants throughout Yellow Springs starting Monday, November 5 until Friday, November 9.

Officials stated they will start on Allen Street and work northward.

Flushing will be done during the day from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Residents can expect their water to be discolored during that period and should use caution in laundering. Despite any change in color, water will remain safe for drinking.

Officials also said to expect low water pressure at times during the flushing.
