BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - The Miami Valley Association of Disabled Athletes took on the staff of Children's Medical Center in a wheelchair basketball exhibition game at Wright State University's Nutter Center on Sunday.

Dozens came to cheer on the teams Sunday afternoon.

The event gave individuals with physical disabilities a chance to participate in Paralympic sports, with hands-on participation in wheelchair basketball. Players also got a chance to interact with athletes and coaches.

The MVADA, Orthopedic Center for Spinal and Pediatric Care, and the Miami Valley Communications Council hosted the basketball exhibition.

The MVADA supports recreational opportunities to kids and adults with disabilities.
